Data Centre Transfer Update

We've now finished transferring accounts to the new data centre and updated our nameserver IPs, so please allow several hours for your domain(s) to propragate to the new server. You shouldn't experience any downtime as you should see your website(s) live on either the old or new server. If after several hours you don't feel you're seeing your account on the new server please try clearing your cache, you may also need to restart your hardware (computer/router/modem etc). We will suspend all accounts on the old server in a couple of days, so you will be able to tell if you're not on the new one.

If you are a reseller and you use your own custom namservers for your clients, please let us know so we can provide you with the information to update them or do it for you (unless your DNS is managed elsewhere).

The new server uses phpsuexec for extra security (prevents accounts being accessed through other accounts on the server) but this means any php setting previously defined in .htaccess files will need to be removed and put in php.ini files (please note php.ini applies to individual directories rather than .htaccess which includes all sub directories, so you may need to place it in more than one location).

If you receive any internal server errors (500) it's likely to be due to the above, but we've performed tests on all accounts and fixed any problems we've found, so please contact us if you find any problems.

The old server will still be accessable via 85.234.144.65 for at least a week if you need to access cPanel/WHM/Webmail/FTP etc for any reason.
